We're a small orthotics practice, and we like it that way. When you call, you talk to the person who will fit your brace.
Since 1988
Orthopedic Specialties has served New Jersey patients since 1988. From the start, our focus has been the same: braces and orthotics that are fitted in person, adjusted properly, and backed up with real follow-through — at hospitals, nursing homes, and in patients' own homes.
All fittings are done by Robert Brintz, C.O./L, an American Board Certified Orthotist, in our ABC-accredited facility or wherever you need us to be. Robert is New Jersey licensed and personally responsible for the care we provide.
How we work
- You'll be seen without delay. If your orthosis can't be provided at the first appointment, we tell you exactly when it will be ready.
- Before any fitting, we show you a sample or a picture of the device you'll receive.
- You get written and spoken instructions on wearing and caring for your brace, including a break-in schedule when one is needed.
- If you can't travel, we come to your home — at no charge.
- We verify your insurance before your visit and handle the billing. More on insurance and payment.
