We've fit custom braces for patients since 1988, most of them referred by orthopedists, pediatricians, and physical therapists. We're looking for one person to run the front office three days a week.
What you'd do
- Answer the phone, greet patients, and schedule appointments in our practice software. Call patients to confirm.
- Check patients in, collect intake forms, and copy insurance cards and referrals.
- Verify insurance eligibility and keep referrals and paperwork in order.
- Scan and file patient records, and keep the office tidy and ready for visitors.
- Help our orthotist with the day-to-day of a small practice — supplies, mail, and whatever comes up.
What we're looking for
- Experience in a medical or dental front office, or something close to it. You know what a referral, a copay, and an eligibility check are.
- Comfortable on the phone with older patients and with parents of teenagers.
- Organized and happy working on your own. You'll often be the only person in the office.
- At ease with computers. We use TherapyNotes; we'll train you on it.
- Spanish is a plus.
Schedule and pay
- Three days a week, Tuesday through Thursday, 9 to 5.
- $18 to $20 an hour to start, depending on experience.
- Starting in October 2026.
- Room to grow: as the practice grows there may be Saturday hours, and for the right person the role could become full time.

We're looking for a part-time orthotist to see patients alongside our certified orthotist, with a particular focus on scoliosis bracing — including the Providence Nocturnal Scoliosis® System. That caseload has room to grow, and we want someone who'd like to grow with it.
What you'd do
- Evaluate patients, take measurements and casts, and fit and adjust custom orthoses
- Fit nighttime scoliosis braces (Providence) for adolescents, alongside spinal, lower-limb, and upper-limb work from our general caseload
- Handle follow-ups and adjustments, and document your clinical work
- See patients mostly in our ABC-accredited Rochelle Park office — just off Route 4, about 15 minutes from the George Washington Bridge — with occasional home and facility visits
What we're looking for
- ABC-certified orthotist (CO or CPO); board-eligible candidates will be considered
- New Jersey orthotist license, or eligibility for licensure
- Experience fitting the Providence Nocturnal Scoliosis® System — or the willingness to learn it. If you haven't taken Spinal Technology's Providence training, we'll set it up at no cost to you.
- At ease with adolescents and their parents as well as older patients
- Motivated to keep a full schedule — and if you enjoy getting to know referring orthopedists, pediatricians, and physical therapists, so much the better
Schedule and pay
- Part-time and flexible: hours are built around scheduled fittings, and we'll set the days with you. A good fit whether you're an experienced orthotist easing back from full-time work or a newer practitioner adding scoliosis experience.
- Room to grow: the role starts part-time, but the caseload can support more. For the right person it could become a full-time position — tell us what you're looking for.
- Open to per-diem: if a part-time job isn't the shape you're after, we're glad to talk about per-diem or coverage arrangements instead — tell us what would work for you.
- Compensation based on experience and caseload — we'll discuss it in the interview.
